- Solid wood as it states solid wood in one layer with a thickness of 15mm. This product can be sanded numerous time and effectively becomes the floor. For this reason instalation is more complicated and subfloors are a primary factor. With a timber subfloor this can be secret nailed or a concrete subfloor would require each plank to be stuck down individualy therefore an engineered wood would give a more stable floor when installing on to concrete. Available in many woods in plank, 2 strip & 3 strip.
