Pricing & Payment Terms
- All goods offered for sale through our website are priced in Pounds Sterling (£). All prices are shown excluding VAT; this is added at a rate of 17.5% at the point of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices do not include any delivery or carriage charges. (See below).
- Payment is required in full with the order.
- Country Flooring (Essex) Ltd accept payment by cheque (drawn on a major UK bank) Seven days must be allowed for goods paid by cheque before goods are dispatched, in Pounds Sterling (£) also accepted are the following Credit/Debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch or Maestro and Solo. This enables goods from stock to be dispatched immediately.
- Payment can also be made by BACS Transfer through your digital bank account, this normally takes 3 days to clear and goods will be dispatched after the funds have cleared. Alternatively you can make a same day payment by CHAPS
- All goods remain the property of Country Flooring (Essex) Ltd until payment is received in full.
Delivery
- Deliveries are made by courier between 8am & 6pm. Deliveries are to kerbside only, due to insurance restrictions it is not possible for couriers to carry goods into the home. Please ensure you have the correct help available. Extra charges will be levied for second or subsequent attempted deliveries.
- Requests for estimated delivery time on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. Countryflooring.co.uk cannot be held responsible for delivery times.
- No liability can be accepted for costs incurred due to late delivery or damage, we advise that you receive all goods & check them before booking installers
- On receipt All goods must be inspected immediately, before the courier leaves, this means any tubes should be opened to check trims and visually checking all packaging (but not opening), any damage must be reported to the courier immediately by making a note on the delivery note, failure to mark the delivery note as Damaged Goods will mean NO Claims for damaged or missing goods can be accepted. Signing for goods as ‘Not Inspected’ cannot be accepted and shall be deemed as the goods being signed as in good condition.
- Standard delivery is within 3 working days on stocked products. Free delivery is offered on total orders over £400 + VAT. Delivery charges on orders under £400.00 + VAT start from £20 for Amtico products and £29.95 for other products. Solid Wood Deliveries and deliveries to the Highlands and Islands will have extra charges.
Returns and Cancellation Policy
- All requests to cancel/return an order will be accepted if made in writing by a durable medium within 7 days of receipt of goods. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay the cost and arrange the return of goods to us via your chosen courier. Countryflooring.co.uk does not accept part order returns. Goods are to be returned in good order in original undamaged packaging all returns must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulations” www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oftbusiness_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf All Credits will be processed within 30 days. All products must be checked for faults before fitting.Countryflooring.co.uk will not accept claims for faulty or miss-described items once the goods have been installed. Where goods have been used or installed, this will be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted the goods are in perfect condition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the suitability that the goods ordered are fit for purpose. Refunds will be made within 30 days of cancelation but any direct expenses will be deducted i.e. if in the original contract a product has Free Delivery or subsidised Delivery the full costs incurred will be charged. A typical minimum charge for mainland UK would be £50. Cancellations can be made prior to despatch of goods and a full refund will be given within 30 days of written cancelation.
- It is essential that before returning goods you obtain an authorization number from Country Flooring.co.uk deliveries MUST be booked in by the courier before delivery. Goods should be returned to our warehouse address of:

Samples
- We recommend viewing a sample of the product in person, either at our Chelmsford Showroom 167 Springfield Road, Chelmsford, CM2 6LG or via a sample; these are available on request @ a charge of £4.64 per sample which is rebate-able against any order placed. There is a limit of 4 samples per address. Please request these via the helpline or by email.
Supply
- Our products are supplied on the strict understanding that their nature is fully understood and accepted. As many of our products are natural, there will be variations in colour and grain. Samples should be taken as only indicative. Twist pile carpets are subject to shading, this commonly known as pile reversal and is not a manufacturing fault.
- Although we endeavour to display correct pricing at all times. Countryflooring.co.uk reserves the right to refuse the sale of mispriced products. Before purchasing from us, we recommend viewing the products in person either in a local shop or via a sample, as Countryflooring.co.uk cannot guarantee the colour/patterns matching from monitor to monitor.
