Pricing & Payment Terms
- All goods offered for sale through our website are priced in Pounds Sterling (£). All prices are shown excluding VAT; this is added at a rate of 20% at the point of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices do not include any delivery or carriage charges. (See below).
- Payment is required in full with the order.
- Country Flooring (Essex) Ltd accept payment by cheque (drawn on a major UK bank) Seven days must be allowed for goods paid by cheque before goods are dispatched, in Pounds Sterling (£) also accepted are the following Credit/Debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch or Maestro and Solo. This enables goods from stock to be dispatched immediately.
- Payment can also be made by BACS Transfer through your digital bank account, this normally takes 3 days to clear and goods will be dispatched after the funds have cleared. Alternatively you can make a same day payment by CHAPS
- All goods remain the property of Country Flooring (Essex) Ltd until payment is received in full.
Delivery
- Deliveries are made by courier between 8am & 6pm. Deliveries are to kerbside only, due to insurance restrictions it is not possible for couriers to carry goods into the home. Please ensure you have the correct help available. Extra charges will be levied for second or subsequent attempted deliveries.
- Requests for estimated delivery time on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. Countryflooring.co.uk cannot be held responsible for delivery times.
- No liability can be accepted for costs incurred due to late delivery or damage, we advise that you receive all goods & check them before booking installers
- On receipt All goods must be inspected immediately, before the courier leaves, this means any tubes should be opened to check trims and visually checking all packaging (but not opening), any damage must be reported to the courier immediately by making a note on the delivery note, failure to mark the delivery note as Damaged Goods will mean NO Claims for damaged or missing goods can be accepted. Signing for goods as ‘Not Inspected’ cannot be accepted and shall be deemed as the goods being signed as in good condition.
- Standard delivery is within 3 working days on stocked products. Free delivery is offered on total orders over £350 + VAT. Delivery charges on orders under £350.00 + VAT start from £20 for Amtico products and £29.95 for other products. Solid Wood Deliveries and deliveries to the Highlands and Islands will have extra charges.
Returns and Cancellation Policy
- All requests to cancel/return an order will be accepted if made in writing by a durable medium within 7 days of receipt of goods. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay the cost and arrange the return of goods to us via your chosen courier. Countryflooring.co.uk does not accept part order returns. Goods are to be returned in good order in original undamaged packaging all returns must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulations” www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oftbusiness_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf All Credits will be processed within 30 days. All products must be checked for faults before fitting.
